Barb Suttie

Barbara Rose-Marie Suttie is best known for her traditional Landscape paintings in oils. She was born on January 10th, 1958 in Melbourne, Victoria and gained her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Sub Major in Art History at La Trobe University.
She has collaborated with artists Professor Robert Pope and Robert Todonai, at the Science–Art Research Centre of Australia, near Mt Warning. (Australia's Green Cauldron)
Her work has featured in several volumes of the National Art Magazine, ‘Australian Artist’ where she was a finalist within their competition. Acknowledged for her achievements, her painting techniques were depicted in 7 editions of The Australian Artist.
Her work is promoted on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Gold Coast and Northern Rivers Region (eg. Wollumbin Palms Retreat) . She also receives commissions.
Barbara works almost exclusively in oils either on location, from photos, or sketches. Her beautiful studio cottage is nestled near Mt Warning, Australia’s Green Cauldron in the beautiful Tweed Valley of Northern New South Wales.
